The stars seriously aligned just right for Sarah’s senior session! We landed an amazing sunny day for her senior portraits, and oh what a blast we had. This girl is a complete natural in front of the camera. Can we talk about her perfect smile, and how she can pull out “the serious face” like it’s nobody’s business? I always say I’m the luckiest photographer and have the most beautiful clients, and I’m not lying!
I was over-the-moon excited when she told me she was bringing her traditional Ethiopian dress to incorporate into her session. Sarah just exudes confidence and classic beauty in this entire set, and I’m so in love with the colors in the embroidery! I think she looks like the Ethiopian version of Pocahontas, doesn’t she?
Funny story.. I may or may not have been Facebook stalking Sarah before the shoot, and I found out we went to the same competitive cheerleading gym at the same time! Granted, that was way back in the day, but Sarah is still killing it in the cheer game. I’m always thrilled when I get another member of the cheer family in front of my camera, so that just put the icing on the cake for the entire session.
Would you believe these last few images were taken after the sun had completely set? We chased down every last bit of available sunlight so we could incorporate all 5 of Sarah’s outfits, and man did it pay off!
I’m so glad that Sarah chose me as her senior portrait photographer. She is so full of life, compassionate, and kind. Seriously, she radiates just as much from the inside as she does from the outside! Sarah will graduate from Rockwall-Heath High School in the spring, and plans to attend UT Austin in the fall to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.
